Working on behalf of  our vendors, Environmental Management Solutions undertook a geotechnical investigation for a proposed housing site and adjacent sports pitches in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire. The investigation comprised of: a desk study, twenty-three machine excavated trial pits (pictured), geotechnical testing, soil contamination testing and a full scale soakaway test in accordance with BRE document BRE365.

The final ground investigation report, including an easy to understand executive summary, was issued twenty working days after instruction; three days inside the fast timescale requested by the client.

This allowed the site to be successfully sold to a leading housing developer for the construction of 80 residential properties.
