An amazing evening was had by EMS last Friday! (21st October 2022)

EMS were crowned Professional Services Business of the Year at the Herefordshire Business Awards, sponsored by Allpay. The awards were supported by a huge variety of Herefordshire businesses, with a huge spread of sectors and industries. The 2022 awards received over 120 applications from Herefordshire businesses, so were very proud to have just made it as finalists in the judging process. Hosted at the Three Counties Hotel, the awards evening was a fantastic networking occasion, followed by a three course meal and then the awards ceremony hosted by Matt Teale from ITV News.

We were joined in the Professional Services Category, sponsored by Dawleys, by our fellow finalists Berrys, Thomas Carroll and John Finch Computers.

EMS specialise in Asbestos Surveying, Consultancy, Air-Testing, Analysis & Management through EMS Asbestos. Additionally, we provide specialist Geo-Technical and Geo-Environmental services throughout the West Midlands & South Wales with EMS Geotech. Our Legionella department EMS Water (established 2018) provides comprehensive Legionella Management Services.

Established in 2003, EMS are the only UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy in Herefordshire. EMS have grown from a one-person team in a portacabin, to a multi-departmental environmental consultancy with offices in Hereford, Worcester, Cardiff & London.  We have staff based across the two counties and throughout the UK, with a high-profile client base across the public and private sector throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia.

EMS enter our twentieth year of trading in 2023. We have grown since then from a one person team of just our director Jamie Perkins-Best, to a team of over 35 staff based throughout the UK and with three regional office bases including Hereford, Worcester & Cardiff. Things have certainly changed!

We couldn’t do it all without our amazing team of staff who work tirelessly to provide the highest quality of service. This is indicative of their efforts to always put our clients and their needs first.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our broad range of loyal clients, some of which we have worked for since 2003.

As we approach our twentieth year of trading, we have a variety of exciting developments and events planned which we hope to include our staff and clients with.
